The 2017 Chevy Colorado ZR2 will be heading to dealerships soon and it is going up against the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro in a price war.

The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 will come with a price tag that starts at $40, 995 and this is for the V6 extended cab version. The Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro automatic comes in with a price tag of $43, 700.

The 2017 Chevy Colorado ZR2 is offered with plenty of goodies for going off the road and this includes MultImatic DSSV shocks, rear and front electronic locking differentials, high clearance bumpers at the front and back, off-the-road body protection, suspension that has been redesigned with a 2 inch lift kit and 3.5 inch boost in track width.

The vehicle offers up many standard features and these include the trailer package of the Colorado, spray-on bedliner, heated seating at the front and MyLink radio which comes with navigation.

The Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is offered with the Fox 2.5 inch front shocks, the 1 inch lift, rear leaf springs that have been upgrades, the TRD stainless steel exhaust, Goodyear Wrangler tires on TRD wheels and more. It offers the V6 3.5 liter engine giving out 278 horses and 265 toques and an EPA of 23mpg.
