ZTE Axon 7 Joins Sony Xperia Z5 In Nougat Delay

If you own the XTE Axon 7 and you have been waiting for the arrival of Android Nougat you are going to have to be patient for a while longer as the update has been delayed the same as it has for the Sony Xperia X5.

It was just a couple of months ago when ZTE said that the Axon 7 would be getting updated to Android 7 nougat and that the update would arrive in January. The same was said by Sony and they even started rolling out the update for some of the Xperia handsets last week. Now the update has been pulled and halted due to quality issues.

Owners of the Sony Xperia 5 who received the update started to complain about the battery draining down fast after upgrading to Android 7.0 Nougat and so the update was halted. The ZTE Axon 7 meanwhile was given the Nougat beta program in the US but then registrations for the update stopped. The update is going to support Google Daydream and so it looks like when it is available the handset will get Android 7.1.1 and not 7.0

But do you own the Sony Xperia X5 or the ZTE Axon and have you been waiting for the update to arrive?
