Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro May Be Another Depressing Handset

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro is now out but is this just another depressing release? Well it may be depending on whether or not you happen to live in the US. This is due to the fact that in the US the handset doesn’t offer support for LTE.

The display on the Xiaomi Redmi 3 is 5 inches and this is 720p. It offers up a battery of 4100mah, has dual SIM support and you can expand the memory. It offers 3GB of RAM, comes with 32GB of storage and includes a fingerprint scanner. While all this is well and good, what lets the handset down in the US is lack of LTE.

Some people said that it doesn’t support LTE in the states due to legal issues as the royalties would have to be paid for the device to support LTE in the US. In order to keep the cost of the device down this is the reason why LTE hasn’t been supported for those in the states.

Of course the Xiaomi Redmi 3 does offer HSPDA+ support if you are able to live with it and it comes with great battery life.
