Perhaps one of the biggest surprises was the fact that the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak didn’t come from Pangu or TaiG, instead it came from Luca Todesco.

He did say that people might not want to get over excited at the moment as the jailbreak has not been made available to download.

The reason being that Apple may close exploits and this would mean that the device could not be broken going forward. He said that it had been the most difficult iOS to jailbreak and if people wanted to keep their handset they shouldn’t update.

So while the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak hasn’t been given out yet, at least it is possible.
