Volvo XC90, S90 and V90 Make Their Way Out Of Sweden

By  |

One of the hottest SUVs on the market at the moment is the Volvo XC90. The vehicle beats all the competition with what it offers and at the same time it comes with a price tag that is lower. There are many people clambering to buy the vehicle and this has led to Volvo being put under a lot of stress.

It seems that the carmaker had not anticipated such a high demand for the Volvo XC90 and now they have to do some reshuffling at the production facility in Sweden. They have said that the production of the Volvo XC90, S90 and the V90 will be moving from Sweden and taking up residence in China.

The Volvo S90 along with the V90 will be getting made in China instead of Sweden from 2017 and this means that the production of the Volvo XC90 can be boosted.

This does put the carmaker in something of a win-win situation as the Volvo V90 and S90 are both popular choices in China. If both of the vehicles are produced there it is going to help with cutting down of shipping costs and of course the carmaker will be able to make more Volvo XC90s.
