Volvo S60 & More To Receive Performance Upgrade Thanks To New Trim

If what the Volvo S60 has to offer now in terms of performance is not enough, the new trim should be the one for you.

Volvo has just announced a new Polestar Engineered trim which will come with a long list of performance upgrades. The trim option will be offered to the Volvo S60, V60 as well as the XC60 models but only for the T8 plug-in hybrid variant.

The upgrade would include a retuned engine computer that will increase the power output to 415hp and 494lb ft of torque. It will also get new springs and adjustable Ohlins shocks along with a strut tower brace for additional rigidity.

To make sure it does not get mistaken for any other models, the vehicles will also be given a Polestar badge and yellow accents that represent the new color of the Polestar Engineered sub-brand.

The Volvo S60 will be the first model to receive the new trim followed by the V60 and XC60 next year.
