Volkswagen T-Cross Skipping NA For Good Reasons?

By  |

We already know that Volkswagen will be working on a new model called the Volkswagen T-Cross that will be released in Europe next spring but what about NA?

Well, according to Volkswagen, the new Volkswagen T-Cross will also be heading to China and South American but it will be skipping North America mainly because they think it is too small for the US and Canada.

The T-Cross will come riding on the MQB platform and it will be fitted with a few diesel and petrol engine options at the beginning with more possibly coming after the vehicle has been released.

The Volkswagen T-Cross will be competing with models like the Hyundai Kona, Renault Captur, Nissan Juke, Peugeot 2008 and more. No word on when the vehicle will be released but it should make its debut before 2018 ends. What do you think of Volkswagen’s decision to skip North America?
