Volkswagen Diesel Owners Scared For Their Life After Fix

By  |

Ever since the Volkswagen diesel cheating scandal was exposed, Volkswagen has been working to get those affected models repaired but that is not the end for the users as they now have a new issue to worry about.

According to the owners, after the getting software update from Volkswagen, their vehicle would sometimes go into limp mode even when the vehicle is on the move. Some users reported that the vehicle would suddenly drop to 20mph mid-drive.

It is believed that about 3500 of owners that have send their vehicle back to Volkswagen for the repair came back with the same issue. Volkswagen has responded by saying that their diesel fix was not the cause of the issue and that their customers have been pretty happy with their fix for the diesel issue.

At this point, we still do not know if the fix is the cause but clearly, some of the vehicles are getting into limp modes without any reason and that can lead to accidents or death.
