Volkswagen Arteon Emission Test Push Arrival Date Further

By  |

Volkswagen showed off their Arteon at Geneva last year and since then, the vehicle has already been released in Europe. While Volkswagen did promise that it will be making its way to the US as well, it was only going to arrive in the third quarter of this year but it looks like we might have to wait for even longer now.

According to Automotive News, the Volkswagen Arteon will be delayed because of the certification process as it is being held back by the WLTP worldwide emission testing. Because of that, Volkswagen had to cancel their introductory drive event happening next month.

The Volkswagen Arteon will be coming in with the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and will be offering about 268hp.

With the delay, it is believed that the Volkswagen Arteon will only be arriving early next year.
