Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7: Want The Good Or Bad News First?

By  |

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to debut at the end of this month and pre-orders to open for it as early as February in its mother country South Korea.

However over in the US, all major carriers are expected to offer the Galaxy S7 just as they have the last 3 generations of the device. So we’re talking about an AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 all expected to be available before the summer.

With that said, all eyes are on the largest US carrier – Verizon. Expected to sell the most number of carrier-locked Samsung Galaxy S7 units, we can expect it to open its pre-orders pretty early but as for delivery possibly not so soon.

Word on the street is that we may see the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 go up for pre-order as early as February or March 2016, approximately a month after the global release. This would mean that fans are in for quite a wait after its official release and likely even more depending on available inventory – something that has always been an issue with Verizon bound devices.

The rumor mill puts the Samsung Galaxy S7 with a 5.7-inch display, water resistance cladding and 4K video recording among other features. We may know all this and more by the end of the month.
