Verizon Advertises Stock Jelly Bean For Samsung Galaxy S3

Do you know which version of Android runs Google Now? What about expandable notifications along with quick actions? Which version offers the new Voice Search with the red microphone and which allows you to hide the notification bar by simply swiping down, and doesn’t have the clock with the date to the left of it? Which Android OS is running on the Samsung Galaxy S3 from Verizon right now? Well if you thought it was Jelly Bean for all the above except for the last question then you are right.

However someone had better let Verizon know, as on their landing page for the Samsung Galaxy S3 they are showing images that shows the Galaxy S3 running the stock version of Android Jelly Bean reports Droid-Life.

You can clearly see the Google Now cards, new Voice Search and everything that comes along with the new pull down for notifications. The update for Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has not been made official or released at this moment. A source who wants to remain anonymous did tell DL that the final version has been approved for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and that it would be coming on 14th December. However don’t expect stock Jelly Bean as shown here.

Right now Verizon have not made anything officiall, but from the landing pages it is clear that Verizon will be pushing out the Android Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S3 very soon.

Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, iPhone and Android games keep Berke busy at work all day. Honestly though we’re not sure why we’re paying him as it should be the other way around.
