Verizon HTC One: New Evidence Suggests Release

By  |

HTC and Verizon continue to keep consumers guessing on the launch of the highly anticipated HTC One model platformed on Verizon’s network. The device wasn’t on show at Verizon’s recent CTIA, though there is evidence to suggest that their new model will be released in the not-too-distant future.

Many waited for Verizon to team up with the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and will know all too well that they seem to enjoy keeping consumers guessing. It is a little confusing, however, that the HTC One is readily available on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, but not Verizon.
For now though why not just feast your eyes on the delightful image, courtesy of Slashgear, which appears to capture the HTC One listing within Verizon’s internal database. Along with this visual there are whispers that a launch is likely to take place during early summer, which might suggest sometime in June.

Since the publication of this image, however, it has to be noted that the source has since been deleted – a fact that might suggest that the information isn’t wholly accurate, or legitimate. Let’s hope it’s neither and the silence is merely because HTC and Verizon want to make something special of what will be their flagship device.

When it does finally arrive let’s hope to see some added benefits thrown in there to sweeten the deal somewhat – maybe an ‘exclusive’ colour that cannot be purchased on either of Sprint, T-Mobile or AT&T.

If the Verizon HTC One is very much on your radar, why not let us know when you think it will be released and why you think there is so much silence from both parties. How long are you willing to wait before the anticipation diminishes?
