US Samsung Galaxy Note 2: Quad-Core, All Carriers Mid-November

Samsung have just announced the launch of the Galaxy Note 2 in the US. You will be able to get your hands on the device around the middle of November and it will have the 1.6GHz Exynos quad core processor.

Samsung have been using the 1.5GHz Qualcomm dual core Snapdragon S4 Plus in devices in the US, however the specs of the device are to be the same for all versions of the Galaxy Note 2.

The Note 2 will be launched with carriers AT&T, Sprint T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon. At the moment the price of the device has not been confirmed and neither has the availability. Samsung said that carriers would announce this information. As the iPhone 5 is set to go on sale on Friday it is thought that carriers will begin to reveal the information soon after.

The Galaxy Note 2 has many improvements over its predecessor, the Note. The device features a display of 5.5 inches in a 16:9 aspect ratio, which is perfect for watching video. It comes with the latest version of Android 4.1, Jelly Bean and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad core processor with 2GB of RAM.
