Each year there are hundreds of Android devices released and yet just a few of these grab the attention of the consumer. The majority of big names are saved for release on the run up to Christmas and very soon we will see devices coming out from HTC, Samsung, Motorola, LG, Sony and others. So here are the must have upcoming phones of 2012.

The LG Nexus 4 has to be on the list as it is your ticket to the latest stock Android updates. This device is suitable for anyone who is a fan of Android and wants the pure Google experience. It is thought that the LG Nexus 4 will be available on AT&T and T-Mobile and there may be a carrier version released on Sprint and Verizon later. The device should come out on 29th October.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be a huge hit for those who like a device with a large display. The Note 2 comes with a screen of 5.5 inches and anyone who wants a device they can write on like a notebook will love it and its S Pen. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will be available on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular and Verizon. Sprint should have it by 25th October and other carrier around the middle of November.

The HTC Droid Incredible X comes with a superb 1080p 5-inch screen and is a must for fans of HTC who want the best that is out there. Customers with the Verizon network have the bragging rights for this handset and it is in testing at the moment and is thought to be coming out by the middle of November.

The Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD comes with a superb 3300mAh battery which should last throughout the day without needing to be charged. The handset should be out on 18th October and it will only be available with Verizon.

The Sony Xperia T has been certified by PlayStation and will have a camera of 13 megapixels that will offer video recording at 1080p HD. If you are a fan of James Bond you will want this as it was the choice of device used in the latest James Bond movie. It will be available on AT&T exclusively.
