Unlock For Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Catches Owners Out

By  |

Owners of the Verizon version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have a device that comes with a bootloader that they cannot unlock. Now things have changed as we have found an unlock and this has caught users of the device out and given them quite a surprise.

Beaups came up with the unlock for the bootloader and with some ADB commands owners are now able to unlock their bootloader on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and this means that they can gain access to a whole new world of mods for the device.

The unlock does alter the CID on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and it changes it to a developer CID. To unlock the bootloader you need to have a microSD card, a rooted handset and ADB on your device.

The unlock works when pushing a file onto the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and then running it. During the unlock the handset is going to reboot a few times.

When the bootloader of the handset has been unlocked on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 you can then go ahead and install whatever ROM you want and install custom recovery.
