Toyota Tacoma Takes on 2016 Honda Ridgeline: Which Would You Choose?

If you are on a budget and you want a great vehicle then the Toyota Tacoma and the 2016 Honda Ridgeline are both superb choices. But which of these two would you go for?

Both the 2016 Honda Ridgeline and the Toyota Tacoma fall under the mid-size segment. The Tacoma was treated to a new look for 2016 and it is a good look.

The engine in the Toyota Tacoma is the four cylinder 2.7 litre, or the 3.5 litre V6. You should get about 19mpg in the city and on the highway about 24mpg. The vehicle is able to two up to 6,800 pounds.

There is the V6 VTEC 3.5 engine in the Honda Ridgeline and from this you should be able to get about 27mpg when you take the vehicle onto the highway. The Honda Ridgeline offers up a design that is innovative for the truck bed and it can tow the same as the Toyota Tacoma.

The Toyota Tacoma is offered in four-wheel drive and it comes with on-demand four-wheel drive along with automatic limited slip differential. The Honda Ridgeline may not be a true off roader but it does come with torque vectoring and all-wheel drive, plus the Intelligent management system.
