Toyota Auris: Time To Say Goodbye

By  |

Toyota was at the Geneva Motor Show where they showed off the redesign version of their Toyota Auris but it looks like the vehicle will not be wearing the Auris badge when it finally arrives in Europe.

According to the latest report, Toyota has decided not to use the Auris name for the vehicle in Europe and will instead give it the Corolla badge. Toyota thinks it is fitting since the vehicle will come running on the TNGA platform. Corolla is also one of the best-selling vehicle nameplates out there so making the switch might do more good than harm.

Toyota also added that the Toyota Corolla Touring Sports model will be making its debut at the Paris Motor Show this fall. The standard Corolla will be offered as a sedan and a hatch and will come with a few engine options with the base engine being the 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. The other are hybrid options.
