T-Mobile iPhone 5 Gets Spring Release But With A Twist

By  |

Anyone with T-Mobile who wants to buy an Apple iPhone 5 with them will be happy to hear the comments that the T-Mobile CEO had made at the CES. He said that the T-Mobile version of the Apple handset would be in stores quicker than was planned.

T-Mobile iPhone 5 release date inside next 4 months

The CEO said that the iPhone would be with T-Mobile in the next 3 to 4 months, instead of the 6 to 9 months that was first announced. This means that you should be able to walk into a T-Mobile store and pick up the handset iPhone 5 sometime in the spring.

Along with the introduction of the Apple iPhone 5, T-Mobile is also ending subsidies on their handsets. This means that those after the T-Mobile iPhone 5 will have to pay the full retail price tag which start at $649 for the 16GB model.

At the moment T-Mobile have around 1.9 million people with the Apple iPhone on their network. T-Mobile is confident that none subsidised plans will not affect sales of the Apple iPhone 5. They are hoping that this will draw people in thanks to monthly payments being lower. The carrier is hoping to increase subscribers by around 5%.

T-Mobile will not have users locked in to plans over two years and as Apple release a new handset each year this will be great news for those who want to update to the latest device. The Apple iPhone is one of the devices that have a high resale value, which is also great news for owners.

Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, iPhone and Android games keep Berke busy at work all day. Honestly though we’re not sure why we’re paying him as it should be the other way around.
