This Mazda 6 Design Is The Stuff Of Dreams

We have seen a photo of a Mazda 6 that comes with a design that many fans of Mazda can only dream about. We are talking about the Mazda 6 Parade car that was revealed in Japan looking like the convertible that everyone wanted.

While the Mazda 6 happens to be a cool midsized sedan and it comes with sexy looks, the carmaker hasn’t offered any more body styles. Well this isn’t entirely true as they have made some roofless versions that are used in parades in Japan.

A couple of the Mazda 6 sedans did get converted for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp Central League Championship parade and this took place last November. Many thousands of spectators went to watch the parade, which is all about baseball.

The Mazda 6 roofless vehicles have also been used in a parade by the local fire departments in Okinawa and Miyazaki. As the vehicles were designed not to be driven at high speed this meant that they were completely redesigned when it came to seating, with the emphasis on the people in the back being seen when they are sat down. This led to engineers raising the floor by 20cm along with the leather seating by 40cm.

The Mazda 6 was transformed by just a limited number of people and it took them 6 months. It was said that some of the people that worked on the vehicles did so as volunteers in their spare time through a sense of pride.

But don’t you think the Mazda 6 Parade car looks to be the stuff from dreams?
