This Game Is Set To Change Xbox One Forever

That may seem like a bold statement, but there’s a high possibility that this game could take Xbox One from being turned against over DRM and always-online functionality to being back as a digital gaming powerhouse. There are high hopes in this; we’re talking about Crackdown 3 and that it’s a games console for the online age, using the full resources of the web to future-proof itself.

But, why would the team behind Xbox One disregard a game like that and made it seem as though there isn’t anything in the world that would safe the console for its sake? Maybe, just maybe, it’s got to do with the natural course of human events. We tend to get used to things after a certain period of time, ultimately taking them for granted. And for that exact reason, maybe the man responsible for Xbox at Microsoft is aware of it, which is why he isn’t saying much about the problem that they are facing at hand.

On a side note, in true Crackdown style, everything we would be expecting out of the game would be physical, as the game has compute power and memory on demand to make things as destructible as we want them to be. Microsoft Azure and Cloudgine’s collaboration would enable 13 times the physics computing power of what the Xbox One would typically reserve for such data, ultimately making it a complete makeover for the console. Now that we know how much potential it can bring about to make a change, we can only be hopeful that the upcoming sequel would be just as good as they promise it to be.
