Think Honda Ridgeline Looks Dainty? Wait For This

If you have been led to believe that the Honda Ridgeline offers a dainty look then wait until you see what PSA Peugeot Citroen is planning.

It seems that PSA Peugeot Citroen is planning on building a pick-up truck and they are revealing a six year growth plan, which has the codename of Push to Pass. A one tonne pick-up is said to be just one part of this strategy.

The CEO said that they have always considered a pick-up and said that on April 5 they will be saying which vehicles they are going to be targeting.

The CEO of PSA Europe said that maybe a pick-up is going to be seen but people are going to have to wait for April to find out. However, it is thought that perhaps the group isn’t going to be developing the truck on their own.

It has been suggested that they will go into a joint venture with Toyota as they have offered the Toyota Hilux.

They are not going to be on their own though in building a pickup as Mazda is also said to be working on the next gen BT-50, which may be based around the Hilux.
