The Samsung Galaxy S6 Receives More Love Than Note 5

By  |

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 think that their device has been getting more love shown to it as Samsung released the beta Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for the device but not for the Note 5.

It was only a few weeks ago when the Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta version was launched for the Samsung Galaxy S6. However it was only for UK owners and it didn’t arrive for owners in the US. The update brought with it many visual improvements, along with improvements to Google Now on Tap and Doze.

People thought that the update to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow was going to be just a minor update. However it wasn’t and in fact it does come with lots of upgrades and features.

You can check some of them out below but bear in mind that these are not them all.

1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).

So what do you think about the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for your Samsung Galaxy S6?
