The Samsung Galaxy S6 Has More Love Than The Note 5 and Here Is How We Know
The Samsung Galaxy S6 comes ahead of the Note 5 when it comes down to updates. This is due to the fact that Samsung just launched a beta version of Marshmallow for owners of the Google S6 and this had people celebrating.
Just weeks ago the Samsung Galaxy S6 was given the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta. However, this was handed out only to people in the UK. The update gave visual improvements along with Google Now on Tap and the new Doze feature to save on battery life.
The beta of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow seemed to be a minor update at first. However, it did come with plenty of upgrades. Check some of them out below and there are many more.
1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).
Have you received the update to Android 6 Marshmallow for your handset?
