The Samsung Galaxy S6 Gets Shown More Love Than The Note 5

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 have found that their handset is ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 when it comes to the love shown by Samsung for updating the handset. Samsung launched Android 6.0.1 beta for the S6, giving owners something to get excited about.

Weeks ago the Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta was sent out to some owners who participated in the Samsung Galaxy S6 beta update. However this meant that owners in the US were not given it. The update brought with it visual improvement and Google Now on Tap, along with the Doze feature.

It was said that Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow would be a minor update. However it did bring with it plenty of things and below you can see just some of them.

1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).
Of course this is not the full list of the updates that came with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow upgrade but you can check out the video to find out more.
