The Samsung Galaxy S6 Gets More Love Than The Note 5

The Samsung Galaxy S6 does get more love than the Note 5 in regards to it getting updated faster than other handsets. This is due to the fact that Samsung have launched a beta version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

It was just weeks ago when the Samsung Galaxy S6 got the beta to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However on the downside this was limited to some owners over in the UK. The update brings with it lots of visual improvements along with Google Now On Tap and Doze.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow did seem to be a minor update when you first look at it, and of course it is a beta version. However, it does come with plenty of upgrades. You can check some of them below:

1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).

This isn’t all the list of upgrades of course, but what do you think about the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the Samsung Galaxy S6?
