The Samsung Galaxy S6 Gets More Love Than Samsung Galaxy Note 5

By  |

Owners of the Samsung Galaxy S6 think that their device is shown more love than the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 in regards to the devices being updated. This is due to the fact that a beta version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow was launched for the S6.

Some weeks ago owners in the UK were invited to take part in the Android 6.0 Marshmallow beta; however owners in the US were not invited. The update brought with it visual improvements along with Google Now on Tap and Doze.

You might have thought that with it being a beta version it would be a minor update, however in fact it came with plenty of upgrades. Check below for just some of them.

1. Additional Quick Settings toggles for Private Mode in the status bar.
2. A new set of emoji characters.
3. In fingerprint identification, vibration occurs only when it’s not recognized.
4. A new “Install Overnight” option, where an update installation can be set at night between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m.
5. A customizable Edge panel, where its transparency and size can be adjusted (it can also be updated with new ones online).

Of course this list is not by any means complete, however you can check out the SamMobile video below.
