Tesla Model 3 Given The Thumbs Up By NHTSA

By  |

Despite all the reports of the Tesla Model 3 being unsafe due to all the crashes that were reported, it looks like it is still safe enough that NHTSA thinks it deserves a five-star rating.

This does not come as a surprise since both the Tesla Model X and Tesla Model S were both given a five-star rating from NHTSA. NHTSA however, is also looking into the crashes that involved the Tesla models which raises questions about the auto-pilot system of these Tesla Models.

Of course, the autopilot system is only one of the issue for Tesla right now as they are also trying to find ways to improve their production. The Tesla Model 3 was supposed to be Tesla showing the world that they can speed up their production but things got really messy from the start.

Tesla has also acknowledged that there were delivery bottlenecks and they promise to look into it.

I’d sure like to know how any safety org can overlook the lethally dangerous Tesla Autopilot, or the obviously dangerous and very driver-distracting touchscreen control panel. Theose are two very good reasons to avoid any ride in a Tesla Model 3.
