T-Mobile iPhone 5: Can You Hold Your Breath Until April 14?

Anyone who is waiting to get their hands on the Apple iPhone 5 at T-Mobile will not have to wait for much longer as the CEO of T-Mobile said that the iPhone is coming quicker than what people first thought.

It was originally to have arrived at T-Mobile in 6 to 9 months. However this has now changed to 3 to 4 months, which means that you should be able to get it by the summer time.

When the Apple iPhone 5 is revealed there will also be something else new and this is the fact that T-Mobile will no longer offer handsets with subsidies.

The carrier currently has about 1.9 million subscribers of the iPhone with them. The CEO believes that sales will not suffer when they make the change. It could work for them as the fees would be lower each month. The CEO is hoping that this will draw in subscribers to the tune of 5%.

T-Mobile will not be locking customers in to two year contracts, which means that they would be able to update the handset, Apple reveal a new iPhone every year. The Apple iPhone is also a great handset when it comes to selling it on.

TMoNews said that an email had been sent to employees telling them of a blackout period over 4 weeks. This is to run from 18th March to 14th April. A blackout generally means the release of a new Apple iPhone, we have seen this with the other carriers in the US. Therefore it is safe to assume that we will see the Apple iPhone 5 released on T-Mobile during this time frame.

Not only is he an executive editor and collaborates on many stories here at Autoomobile, but he also does artwork and handles the running of the website on a daily basis. We’re not sure what we would do without Dwayne, especially on those days when we have a great scoop and our servers can’t handle the influx of traffic.
