T-Mobile: We’re Bringing The iPhone 5 But Be Prepared To Fork Out More

By  |

Many people have been wondering whether T-Mobile would sell the Apple iPhone 5 and some have been waiting forever to get their hands on it.

T-Mobile did say that they would like nothing better than to sell the Apple iPhone, but they did not want to meet the demands of Apple as Sprint had to, along with other carriers.

The Apple iPhone 5 happens to be the best-selling handset over in the US and it is available with all of the carriers except T-Mobile, for the moment. Some have said that they have doubted whether T-Mobile would get the iPhone at all, even when the Apple iPhone 6 is revealed. Apple would have it if they could offer the device without subsidies, however Sprint didn’t manage to do this and they now have to wait until 2015 before profits will be seen.

At the moment T-Mobile has been heavily relying on the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the LG Nexus 4, which has led some to wonder why they never gave in. They do have coverage that is decent and prices that are considered to be reasonable. Then you have to ask if the Apple iPhone is needed at T-Mobile. This is due to the fact that owners of the handset are able to take their device to the carrier and use the pre-paid plans.

However good news has come from T-Mobile that they will indeed by having the Apple iPhone 5 soon and it should be within the next 3 to 4 months. They have not given into the demands of Apple as they will be doing away with phone subsidies. This means that anyone can buy the T-Mobile iPhone, but they will have to pay full price for it, around $650, instead of the $200 they would if they had it on contract.
