T-Mobile iPhone 5: Biggest Difference Is Its Price

By  |

The Apple iPhone 5 is heading T-Mobiles way and for those who have been waiting for it the wait is almost over.

T-Mobile wanted to be able to offer the handset to customers; however they did not want to give in to Apple and their subsidy demands. Sprint along with many others did this.

In the US one of the best-sellers has been the Apple iPhone 5 and you can get the device with all carriers. Some people believed that T-Mobile would never offer the iPhone, even when the next version comes out, which could be the iPhone 6. T-Mobile were adamant that they would not give in to Apple, but even Sprint had to in the end, although it will be 2015 before they seen profits.

T-Mobile meanwhile has had to make do with the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the LG Nexus 4 to bring in money. Some people wondered why they didn’t give in, as the carrier has good plans and coverage.

Well the Apple iPhone 5 is finally heading to the carrier and it will be happening within 3 to 4 months. The CEO of T-Mobile said that the iPhone will not be on a subsidised plan, but you can get it off contract for around $650. The device typically costs $199 with a contract of two years.

So you will have to pay the full price to get the Apple iPhone 5 with T-Mobile. However there is some good news as they will be offering a down payment along with installment plan, so you won’t have to hand over all the cash at once.
