Subaru WRX Is Falling Behind the Competition

The Subaru WRX has always been a strong competitor but now the vehicle is falling behind the competition and the Ford Focus RS looks like it is going to be taking over from it.

The Subaru WRX offers the 2 litre engine with a manual gearbox offering 6 speeds and 268 horses. The Ford Focus RS will be arriving in the US and when it does we are expecting to get more from the vehicle.

The engine in the Ford Focus RS is said to be the 2.3 litre EcoBoost and this is the same as what Ford use in the Ford Mustang. However in the case of the RS the engine will have been given a boost and you should expect to get about 345 horses from it.

The Ford Focus RS engine with the boost should be able to take the vehicle from standstill to 62mph in about 4.7 seconds and we are expecting it to offer a top speed of about 165mph. The vehicle is also going to offer up a Drift mode for a much better driving experience.

When the Ford Focus RS does make its way onto the US market we are expecting it to have a price tag in the region of $36, 605. But will it be able to beat the Subaru WRX?
