Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid Revival Is More Of ‘When’ Than ‘If’

A murky and rather dark teaser image of the 2017 Subaru Crosstrek SUV has been released by the carmaker and they said that the vehicle is coming our way on March 17 at the Geneva Motor Show.

Outside of the US the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid will have the name of the XV and it remains a boosted Impreza five door hatchback from the looks of things. We are expecting it to offer up styling that is slightly different and it will have the 2 litre four cylinder engine and the all-wheel drive system.

It is thought that the Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid is going to offer up fuel economy numbers that are improved and we may see the arrival of a plug-in hybrid by 2019. From what we could see of the vehicle it does look as though it is going to be more rugged than the vehicle it is going to replace. It will offer a roof rack along with body cladding.

The 2018 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid will come with the Starlink infotainment system along with EyeSight advanced driver assistance; this comes with pre-collision, active cruise control and lane departure warning.
