SoulCalibur VI: End Of The Line?

By  |

The last SoulCalibur was released back in 2012 and now that the developers are ready to release a new SoulCalibur game, the fans are more excited than ever but it looks like the excitement might be short live if not enough fans show up to support the game.

According to Motohiro Okubo, the Producer of the game, SoulCalibur series is not really a top priority for Bandai Namco right now and that the game could get killed off if the new SoulCalibur VI game is not a hit with the fans.

He explains that the game was on the verge of disappearing and that it took a lot from him to convince the company to make the new SoulCalibur game. He added that he does not want to blackmail the fans to support the game by saying it might be the last but the performance of the next game will determine the future of the series.

Knowing what is at stake, the developer won’t be holding anything back with the SoulCalibur VI but we will have to wait and see if it is going to be enough.
