Sony Xperia Z5 Marshmallow Update: How To Check If Your Variant Is Ready

By  |

Sony Xperia Z5 users, listen up. You’re in for a real treat as you’d be able to receive the Marshmallow update in no time. And if you’re wondering how you’re going to get it for your device, you’ve definitely came to the right place. We’ve scavenged through the Net to find you the easiest possible ways to check if your variant is indeed ready for the update.

For starters, you’d need to check with model you have for your Xperia phone. Head on over to Settings > About the phone > Diagnostics > Facts. On your Z5, you’ll see the Model is the first listed value. Then, you’d have to scroll down to the software section where you’ll find “Customization”. What’s going to happen next is you’ll be able to see the “CDA” column value, which is as listed on XperiCheck.

And if you’d like to know the full list of model numbers that are being confirmed with this, they are: E6653, E6683, and E6603. The listed countries are for Thailand and Russia generic builds, but there are others as well.

Be sure to check it out and let us know about your findings, down below.
