Xperia Z vs HTC One: Seatwarmers Slug It Out Ahead Of S4 & iPhone 6

There has been a great deal of shiny tech coming out into the mobile world recently. Today we compare two of the heavyweights, the HTC One and the Sony Xperia Z.

Both of the handsets will no doubt very popular when they come onto the smartphone market and choosing between the two could be very difficult. Of course, that is until the Samsung Galaxy S4 and iPhone 6 are unveiled which will more than likely be the two biggest rivals to these Android flagships.

When it comes to displays the Sony Xperia Z wins thanks to it having 5 inch display which is full HD resolution along with pixel density 441, this is in comparison to that of the HTC one which is 4.7 inches full HD and offers 469 PPI.

The Sony Xperia Z has the Qualcomm quad core processor and this has been clocked at 1.5 GHz, it comes with 2 GB of RAM, the HTC One relies on the 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600 Krait quad core and 2 GB of RAM.

For storage the Sony Xperia Z has 16 GB and this can be expanded through SD card up to another 32GB. The HTC one doesn’t support SD card and but it comes in choices of 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage.

The HTC one comes with a camera that the company had called Ultrapixel, this is 4 megapixel and there is a 2.1 megapixel camera on the front of the device. The Sony Xperia Z is 13.1 megapixel camera along with a 2.2 on the front.

The Sony Xperia Z has a battery of 2330 mAh,  the HTC One comes with a battery of 2300 mAh.

The HTC one weighs 143 grams and is 137.4 mm x 68.2 mm x 9.3 mm. Sony Xperia Z weighs 146 grams and has measurements of 139 mm x 71 mm x 7.9 mm.

Both of the handsets are looking superb and Android fans showed a bit difficult choice to make when choosing between the two. However if rumors of the Samsung Galaxy S4 launching next month and the iPhone 6 being revealed this summer are true, the decision may just become a little more difficult.
