So What Was All The Fuss About The Chrysler 880, Again?

By  |

If you check out the official Chrysler website you will be greeted with announcements of their upcoming redesigned Chrysler 200, 300 and Town & Country minivan. But there is one more vehicle listed there that we never heard of – the Chrysler 880.

Now if the numbering is anything to go by, it is likely a sedan and one with a bigger liter engine than the Chrysler 300 hence Chrysler 880.

We have seen the likes of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, Tesla Model S and of course the BMW M5 show us that family sedans can in fact also be exhilarating rides if you equip it with an engine that’s up to the task. And that’s why we are looking at the Chrysler 880 as a monster sedan (or a minivan, since it’s been pointed out by one of the readers).

If we had to throw a wild guess, the Chrysler 880 could possibly borrow the engine from the Dodge Viper. Can you think of any other performance engines under the same umbrella brand that the Chrysler 880 could utilize? Sound off in the comments below!
