Smart Forease Concept Has Something Old & Something New

By  |

Smart will be at the Paris Motor Show where they will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with the debut of their new concept.

Called the Forease concept, the concept will be coming in as a two-seat roadster model that will be based on the EQ ForTwo Cabrio. The concept also pays tribute to some of the older concepts like the 2001 Crossbladde and 2011 Forspeed.

To give it a futuristic flair, it was given a metallic white exterior with green accents. The concept was also fitted with unique bumpers, huge diffuser, two roll bars, distinctive headlights, a revised grille, 3D taillights and more.

No specification was revealed but based on the last few concepts, this was probably fitted with a 17.6 lithium-ion battery pack paired with an electric motor that would offer about 80hp and 118lb ft of torque.

More details will be revealed when it shows up in Paris next month.
