Skyrim: We Got Dawnguard, Dragonborn, Hearthfire… What’s Next?

Now we’re in January 2013, there’s some good news coming to the PS3, as well as the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC. Bethesda has also confirmed that it’s working on getting Dawnguard and Heartfire out to the PS3, but Dragonborn is the first as it’s the easiest to get out onto the PS3 console.

Skyrim: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn and…

Xbox 360 players already have all the Skyrim DLC, and now Bethesda has the PS3 platform problems ironed out, so what can we expect to see on the horizon next? A new Skyrim game? More DLCs? We reckon it’ll be the latter.

This is because Bethesda appears to be following a pattern of five expansions for every Skyrim game and then a sequel. We have three add-ons – Dawnguard, Dragonborn and Hearthfire, so we should expect two more DLC packs before we see Skyrim 6.

What will this fourth DLC look like, then? TapScape reckons it might focus on Thalmor. A fight with Thalmor is likely, and so provides the perfect grounds for an expansion pack. TS says, though, that it means a rebellion, rather than an all-out war across all the maps.

What are you hoping and expecting to see on the fourth and fifth expansion packs?
