Skyrim PS3 DLC: Unhappy Campers Expect Dawnguard & Hearthfire Discounts

By  |

It has been said that some owners of the PS3 had given up on the wait for the DLC packs for Skyrim and decided to swap for an Xbox 360. Others however have hung on and now are hoping Bethesda offers something by way of compensation for the delays with all three expansion packs.

Skyrim PS3 Dawnguard & Hearthfire DLC discounts over delays?

So could Bethesda be thinking of offering a discount for Dawnguard and Hearthfire which still don’t have firm release dates? Possibly

Bethesda has said that the first of the Skyrim DLC packs to arrive on the PS3 will be Dragonborn and it will be out in 2013. At the moment a release date hasn’t been given for Dawnguard or Hearthfire although Bethesda has made it clear that Dragonborn was the easiest to release hence why it will be available next month.

The forums are now filled with comments on when Bethesda might release the remaining two DLC packs and also talk about reducing the price of these DLCs.

So why the rumors of a discount? This is because when Bethesda announce Dragonborn for the Xbox 360, they said that they hadn’t decided on a price for the DLC packs for the PS3. This fueled the speculations that they may hit the bargain bin quicker than expected.

We’ll just have to wait and see.
