Bethesda who is the publisher of Fallout 3 along with Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, has filed for a trademark for a TV show based on Fallout.

The Escapist said on 16th January that they had filed a patent with the Patent and Trade Office in the US. In addition to this news Bethesda are said to be at work on Fallout 4.

Fallout 3 was released in October of 2008 for the PC, PS3 and the Xbox 360 in North America. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was released on the three systems in November of 2011. The role playing games were developed by Bethesda Game Studio and published by Bethesda Softworks.

On a side note, Bethesda is reportedly working on two more Skyrim DLC packs before we could see a Skyrim 6. They are rumored to be based on Thalmor and Redguard. At this time, PC and PS3 fans are still waiting for the Dragonborn DLC to be released.
