Lack Of Skyrim DLC For PS3 Users Not All Bad

Over the course of the last few weeks there has been a change in feelings in regards to Skyrim on the PS3 and the satisfaction that owners of the PS3 still have despite no DLC being made available yet.

No DLC for PS3 Skyrim fans is disappointing but doesn’t kill game

Skyrim for PS3 of course is lacking Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn and they are looking more and more unlikely to be coming right now. However Mark Chubb over at Product-Reviews says that after playing Skyrim on the PS3 for over 400 hours, there has been a great deal of satisfaction. And the same seems to apply to many of their readers.

One reader recently summed up the satisfaction over Skyrim for each console very well. They felt that Skyrim on the PC had got lots of mods and DLC, however some PC owners have been complaining about not getting DLC fast enough. Owners of Xbox 360 manage to the DLC but have to do without mods; and then owners of Skyrim on the PS3 have no Dawnguard, or any DLC and they complain about getting left out.

You can see from this that each of the platforms have something to moan about in relation to Skyrim. However some people seem to be missing a vital point and that is just how goof Skyrim is without DLC.

Skyrim offer hundreds of hours of entertainment, which means that it is value for money.

So PR points out that there still has been great fulfilment from Skyrim without DLC, however some people have forgotten this due to being let down numerous times from all the DLC rumors. So, if you are waiting for Dawnguard and feel that you are have been let down just think back to how much fun Skyrim gave you without Dawnguard.

Of course this doesn’t mean that we don’t want Dawnguard on the PS3, we do, but we’re not going to go out and buy an Xbox 360 just for it.

Bethesda’s Pete Hines recently said through Twitter that he knew what owners of the PS3 must be feeling and he would let them know where they stood, as soon as he gets permission to do so.

Dwayne is a jack of all trades. Not only is he an executive editor and collaborates on many stories here at Autoomobile, but he also does artwork and handles the running of the website on a daily basis. We’re not sure what we would do without Dwayne, especially on those days when we have a great scoop and our servers can’t handle the influx of traffic.
