Skyrim DLC: Dragonborn, Dawnguard, Hearthfire & Now Thalmor?

2013 is not too far off now and when it arrives, so will the Skyrim DLC that owners of the PS3 have been waiting for. Bethesda has said that Dragonborn will come to the PS3 at some point in January. They have also said that owners of the PS3 will get Dawnguard and Hearthfire. However they chose to release Dragonborn first as it was the easiest of the DLCs to port to the Sony device. So what might we expect following Dawnguard, Dragonborn and Hearthfire?

Skyrim PS3 DLC: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn & beyond

Owners of the Xbox 360 already have the three DLC packs and Bethesda is continuing work to iron out all the kinks for owners of the PS3. So what will be next? Will Bethesda launch more DLCs or will there be a new Skyrim game to come? The odds are that they will choose to launch more DLCs.

This is down to Bethesda following a pattern. This pattern is five DLCs for every Skyrim game and then a sequel is launched. That is what we have seen so far when you take a look back at the past Skyrim game releases.

Up to now fans of Skyrim have enjoyed Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. If Bethesda sticks with the pattern, there should be two more DLCs coming out before a Skyrim 6 is out.

So what could Bethesda have up their sleeves by way of the 4th DLC for Skyrim? Over at TapScape they predict that there may be a DLC that is focused on Thalmor. This could very well be the perfect expansion, as a fight with them is almost inevitable. TapScape have said that this would more than likely be a rebellion, as opposed to an all-out war that would envelop all the maps.

So what do you think? Will there be more DLC packs for Skyrim and if so what could they be? I’m sure PS3 Skyrim fans are just happy to see the current 3 DLCs confirmed for now of course. I know I am.

Not only is he an executive editor and collaborates on many stories here at Autoomobile, but he also does artwork and handles the running of the website on a daily basis. We’re not sure what we would do without Dwayne, especially on those days when we have a great scoop and our servers can’t handle the influx of traffic.
