Skyrim Dawnguard DLC: PS3 Revolution Next Logical Step?

By  |

If you have the Skyrim Dawnguard DLC on Xbox 360 then you will know just how good it is. Skyrim is also great on the PS3, but with news that the new DLC Dragonborn and Dawnguard aren’t available for the PS3, would you move over to the Xbox 360?

PS3 users revolting over lack of new DLC for Skyrim

Apparently Product-reviews say that some owners of the PS3 are considering doing just this, after waiting for the DLC which they thought was going to come their way when they bought Skyrim, only to find it hasn’t.

Of course due to anger on the spur of the moment you could say that you were trading in your PS3, however it appears that some people really meant it as they have already sold their PS3 and gone out and bought the Xbox 360, just so they can play Dawnguard and Dragonborn!

There are many people who are still living in hope that the Skyrim packs will eventually come to the PS3. Some hope was given as there is confirmation that some content is coming to the PS3. At the moment though, no one knows just what this could be Dragonborn, Hearthfire, Dawnguard, or something else entirely.

Some people have said that what is stopping the DLC packs is lack of RAM on the PS3. But bear in mind that other RAM intensive games work. Bethesda of course do seem to favour the Xbox 360 and they have a poor history when it comes to the PS3 and new content. So it is no surprise that PS3 users are revolting against the developer.

Meanwhile Pete Hines said that before he can comment on the status of new PS3 DLC content, he has to ask permission from the big wigs above. So we’re all left in the dark here it seems.

The big question is, will you be swapping your PS3 for the Xbox 360 if news of Dawnguard and Dragonborn for the console doesn’t come soon enough?
