Game developers love to put in hidden surprises, known as Easter Eggs, into their games. We showed you some from the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC and now it’s the turn of the DLC that came before, Dawnguard. So here are 5 things that you might have missed on the Dawnguard DLC for the Xbox 360.

5 things you may have missed in Skyrim Dawnguard DLC

Make sure that you get all the pages for Jiub, the Dark Elf. The Soul Cairn plays host to him and as he is dead and somewhat a writer, he is having trouble getting all the pages back of the manuscript that he has lost. If you manage to find all 10 pages of this and give it back, you will get a promotional copy, free; along with a locket that gives big boosts to stamina and weight capacity.

You should trade Soul Husks for enchanted weapons. Did you ever wonder why you should bother going around collection the bundles of shredded wheat in Soul Cairn? If you check close to the entrance of this realm you will find a merchant tucked into a gap and he will give you enchanted weapons for 25 husk pieces each.

Change your face when you renounce the curse. If you have fallen out with the 9 Skyrim holds, how do you start afresh? First you will need to talk with any of the bartenders in Skyrim about news of a Falion in Morthal. If you bring a Black Soul Gem to give him, he will find the advanced case of Sanguinare Vampiris very quickly. Then you should go to Riften and into the Ragged Flagon in the Ratway. Find and talk to a fella in a robe with the name of Galathil and he will agree to give you a facelift and a new challenger will appear.

Get yourself a Dwarven grenade launcher. This is only for Dawnguard supporters. Talk with Sorine Jurard when you have finished the New Order quest and this will give you a side quest called Ancient Technology. You will then be searching Skyrim for a potent crossbow ammunition blueprint. The 6th and last of them is for the Enhanced Dwarven Crossbow and this shoots exploding ammunition that is magical.

Get the Aetherial staff and shield. You need the staff if you want to conjure up the powerful Dwemer Sphere to puncture opponents. You can battle with enemies using the shield and this will see them being reduced to vapour for 15 seconds. To get your hands on both you need to begin at Lost to the Ages, which is a side quest, you can do this when you read a book called Aetherium Wars. You can pick this up in Fort Dawnguard or the Castle Volkihar’s Undercroft. It could take some time to do the quest but it is worth it.
