From far, the vehicle seen on the Nurburgring track might look like a Volkswagen Tiguan but upon closer inspection, it was revealed that it is actually a Skoda model with a much longer wheelbase than the Tiguan.
Other than that, the spies also reported that the test mule is actually an electric vehicle as it did not have an exhaust system. The vehicle will be riding on the MEB platform and is said to be the production version of the Vision iV concept that Skoda showed off at Geneva. Of course, the production version will look nothing like the one seen on the track but will be based on the concept.
When Skoda showed off the concept, it was revealed that the concept was powered by an 83kWh lithium-ion battery pack that will be offering about 302hp and that it will need 5.9 seconds to go from 0-62mph and has an electric range of 310miles.
More details will hopefully be revealed soon.
