Samsung Galaxy S9 Will Feel More Bloated After This

By  |

Those looking to get the latest Samsung Galaxy S9 will now have more bloatware taking up the space of their device if they choose to get the device from Verizon.

According to Oath, four of their new apps will be pre-installed on the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S9. Since Oath belongs to Verizon, it made sense that they would be able to do that.

Verizon customers can expect to find Newsroom, Yahoo Sport, Yahoo Finance and Go90 in the device when they get it from Verizon. That is not all, Oath and Verizon is also trying to push their services on the Samsung’s Galaxy app which will feature native ads that will blend in with the other content.

While this is good news for Oath, you can imagine how upset Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S9 users will be. Of course, Samsung will also benefit from the deal since they will be getting part of the ad revenue.

We are not sure if those devices that were already sold will be forced to install the apps as well.
