If you thought that the iPhone 7 was expensive the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to have you changing your mind as it will make it look cheap.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is one of the most anticipated devices of this year but sources have suggested that the device is going to cost upwards of $840. We have heard plenty of rumours about the handset and it has been said to be coming with features that include an iris scanner, almost bezel free display, the Snapdragon 835 processor and a whole lot more.
Ronald Quandt went on Twitter recently to share some information about the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the new colour option that it is coming with. He said that the device would come with a starting price of 799 Euros and the S8 Plus would be in the region of 899 Euros.
Meanwhile MobileFun, the UK smartphone retailer, has started to accept pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ even though Samsung hasn’t yet revealed the devices. They have the price of the 64GB version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 at 799 Euros. Of course it is possible that this might just be a placeholder for the device until we hear about the official pricing from Samsung.
If the price tag of the Samsung Galaxy S8 does come in at 799 Euros then it would be the equivalent of $842 USD. The S7 came with a price tag of $600 in the US.
But what do you think about the price tag of the Samsung Galaxy S8, would you pay out $842 USD for it?
