Samsung Galaxy S8 Really Makes Galaxy S7, S6 Look Wasteful

Both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the S7 were superb handsets but now that we have seen some leaked images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8, they do make the older devices look as though they were wasteful when it comes to screen-to-body ratio.

There have been lots of rumours going around about the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the latest news about the handsets has been leaked images. We are expecting the handset to be something of a power house to make up for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. From the looks of things this may start with the a sleeker design that doesn’t come with a physical home button and which has thin bezels at the sides.

The new images of the Samsung Galaxy S8 were revealed on Weibo and they show the device without the physical home button and the branding of Samsung below the display. On the right is the power and lock button but we haven’t seen the back of the handset so we don’t know if it comes with the dual rear cameras.

The dual cameras had been rumoured but recently it was suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S8 would have just a single camera. It is thought that the device will make an appearance at the MWC this year in February, but the handsets could be delayed for sale until April.

The handsets might arrive in the form of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, with the latter offering a curved display along the edge. It has also been rumoured that there will be support for the S Pen stylus.
