Based on Samsung past releases, it is safe to assume that an Active version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 will eventually make its way into the market. What we did not know is when the device will be arriving.
While we still do not have a date right now, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Active was spotted getting certified by the WiFi Alliance. The device with the model number SM-G892A is said to be the model assigned to AT&T.
If this is true, it does suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S8 might be closer than we think. There is no new details about the smartphone right now but based on the last few Active model, the S8 Active should be coming with the same specs and feature as the standard model but it will come with a higher standard of durability.
We can expect to see it sporting a 5.8inch display with the Snapdragon 835 Processor. Some people are hoping it will get a bigger battery but we will have to wait and see.
