Samsung Galaxy S7 One Step Behind The Rest

By  |

Since this is Samsung we are talking about, it was automatically assumed that their flagship would come with all the latest tech and features but it looks like Samsung might have dropped the ball this time.

While most of the flagship we see this year will be getting the new Quick Charge 3.0 thanks to the new Snapdragon 820, the newly release Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will not.

Instead of coming with the new Quick Charge 3.0 feature, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will only be coming in with the older Quick Charge 2.0 which is still pretty fast but it is just not the Quick Charge 3.0.

It is believed that the reason why Samsung kept is at the older Quick Charge 2.0 was because the Exynos 8 processor does not support it and Samsung wants to make sure that both models offer the same. Do you think it will matter?
